Death and Rebirth
an excerpt

William Cross had given up everything he was for a woman who demanded he become something he never could. She left him with nothing but memories of things he could not regain.

Lydia Carmichael had never been able to find her place in the world, the pieces never quite fit together. She wanted someone who understood her connection to the magic, but what she found was a man who had none of his own.

If everything had gone according to plan they never would have met. Like so much else, plans are only good when made by Fate, and she is a fickle woman.

A chance meeting, a random accident, and a spell gone awry change their destiny. Now he must reclaim everything he thought lost to him forever and she must believe that he really is the person she sees and not the person she thinks he is.

He escaped Death before, but immortality comes at a cost, for one to live another must die, the balance must be kept.

In the end Death will come to collect his due, the question will be: can they stand together and face the coming of the storm or will Death claim two new souls?

Hell is about to break loose and no one knows besides a man bound by an oath he can not break.
