Favorite writers: Terry Pratchett; Ellis Peters; C.S. Lewis. Anything compelling, but not so intellectual that it hurts your brain to decipher it.

Favorite music: Anything from 3 Doors Down to Sarah McLachlan to Surfjan Stevens. If not darn loud with a gripping guitar riff and a passionate singer, then folky with made-to-make-you-cry lyrics.

Non-noveling interests: Church, singing, writing, etc. I'm also a great advocate of the group hang as long as it includes Mario Tennis and guitars.
