Synopsis: Yaoi Manga
Two boys decide to write a yaoi manga. Fifty thousand words ensue.
Excerpt: Yaoi Manga
We are afraid to voice our wishes. We think, once we say it, it won’t come true. So we never say it, and keep our secret hopes inside. But then we fail, there is something inside of us that hurts, too. We don’t say it because it won’t come true—but if it doesn’t come true anyway, we are so disappointed.
But we still keep it locked inside our hearts.
But you saw through that, didn’t you? With your green and yellow eyes, reflecting in the sun, and you smiled at me with your peaceful smile, and you unlocked it, and it hobbled at first, my hope, not used to the bright sunlight. I wanted to grab it, lock it back—I didn’t say it! I didn’t say it!—but you held me back. And then it flew, and it was wonderful beyond imagination.
So I wonder why I still kept words locked inside my heart. No, I only kept three more words locked up in the darkness, and let all the others fly free.
“I love you.”
I wish I could have said that to you.
