It was a crisp November first morning and Amanda was late, congested and cranky. It’s an awful way to start a month, congested. Your nose is all cranky, you get winded after walking up one stair, and you just can’t seem to find any way to breathe no matter how hard you try. And then add late on top of that… well, you must understand why Amanda was cranky. She had slept late and was not required to run to get to her early morning French class. Running + Congestion = Double Plus Un-Good or in other non-Orwellian words really bad.
