Watch Your Head
an excerpt

Awkward looked at him with that sad ‘You are so pathetic it’s pathetic’-look. “I know it sucks, Awkward, but I can’t help it! You have to start out doing shit roles!” Awkward looked at him in a way that suggested him raising one eyebrow like people always do when they question a previously made remark. Sadly turtles don’t have eyebrows and Awkward was restricted to making it look like he did the previous. “You try it then! You try getting a role in a musical!” Awkward shrugged without actually shrugging since obviously turtles don’t really shrug. “I’d probably do better.” He said matter-of-factly. “Yes?! Well .... Did you just talk?!” Awkward stared blankly into space blinking a few times. Stupid human...

Brad slapped himself in the face and sat down. “No, no, no...turtles do not talk, you idiot. Uggghhhh. Why do I keep hearing and seeing stuff?!” he reached for the script to try again. Hey... Where’d it go?! He’d left it right there, right in front of him, on the table. “...and losing stuff...I swear it was here.” Awkward emerged from under the fridge looking rather pleased with himself. In fact, he was. In the few moments Brad had closed his eyes he had succesfully managed to climb up on the table, snatch that awful script and drag it under the fridge.
