Synopsis: Panderum's Box

Zander Finch is turning 11 and gets an most unusual gift: a box that comes with a warning to not open it. When he ignore the warning, he inherits the family curse and is torn from his world during each New Moon and thrust into a lost land filled with danger. Zander must pick up where the one before him left off in a hunt for four sacred relics that his great, great Uncle Panderum the explorer took in order to devine a doorway to this lost world. Only by returning what was taken can Zander break the curse and return to his normal life in his world, without fear of being pulled away during the next New Moon.

Excerpt: Panderum's Box

Dear Unfortunate Family Member,

If you are reading this, it means two things. First, I am dead. Second, you are the unfortunate family member born on the day I died and have inherited what you see before you.
I will pass on the same advice given to me the day this box entered my keeping: do not open it. Place it somewhere dark and deep—an attic, a basement, the farthest corner of your closet. Forget it exists and go on with your life. Do not seek out the contents of this box.

Sincerely,

One who did not heed the warning
