Brief Author Bio:

My name is Kelly. I attempted to do NaNoWriMo for two years, but failed to complete anything. I'm going to attempt once again this year. Whether or not I'll make it all the way is up fully to my motivation, encouragement, and my imagination.

I am an aspiring graphics designer. I plan on going into Graphics Designing and starting up a self-publishing business, since I firmly believe all authors should own all the rights to their words and the publishers and editors should not have a say in the writing unless the author asks. I plan on publishing my own stories, in addition to other peoples.

Writing is a hobby of mine. I'll fully admit I write more fanfictions than I do original stories; I find fanfictions as writing practice. It has improved my own writing. I'm also pretty lazy, so I tend to find fanfictions easier to write. I do enjoy writing my own stories though.

I am a major Eurobeat fan. Eurobeat is a genre of music produced in Italy and often sung in English (and if not English, Japanese). It's full of energy and is extremely easy to dance to, as well as fun. I highly recommend trying out the genre of music, especially if you're a techno/trance/dance fan.

I will admit I am a major fan of the Pokémon anime. The Pokémon manga series I've read come in second. I am a huge advocate of the most current season (except for English voices, which I absolutely hate) and the Japanese version. I would prefer not to get into a debate about it, but if I do, you'll get an explanation - 700 words or more. My two favourite characters is Satoshi/Ash Ketchum and Hikari/Dawn for a variety of reasons.

I consider Ash Ketchum my alter-ego.

I have a long list of Pokémon fan characters, as well as several KH fan characters. I absolutely adore fan characters and believe that they're part of fandoms; if they didn't exist, a fandom wouldn't be a fandom. I'm also a major OC x Canon fanatic. I would prefer that you not say anything against it. I'm not going around, bashing your Canon x Canon only views.

I hope that people enjoy my story this year. I hope I can finish. I really, really, really, really hope I can. Now...just to decide which story I'm writing...

Synopsis: Surf, Scroll, STOP

Kanata isn't your average American teen. She's Japanese/American, has naturally coloured purple (!) hair, and is a geek. Her life seems quite happy, until she gets home. With two bickering parents who can't stop their fighting, Kanata escapes by working on her dream computer system. After converting her room into a computer (the walls and floors), Kanata is somehow sucked into the computer, sent to go kick virus butt and get rid of the bad of the internet. How in the world is there another world inside the internet? What is Kanata going to do? WHY is she sent to do this? (And this will be re-written when I think it full out, yo...)
