After realizing that she was staring at the trainer, Nurse Joy cleared her throat. “May I help you?” she asked politely.

The girl looked up suddenly with a puzzled expression on her face, as if she had forgotten where she was. There was an awkward silence as she looked around. Then suddenly she exclaimed, “Yes!” in a loud voice that echoed throughout the empty room. She quickly marched over to the front desk, feeling along the lining of her cloak for something. Her small hand disappeared into a hidden pocket and retrieved a small photograph, slightly spotted with water. “Have you seen this girl?” she demanded, shoving the picture across the counter to the pokemon nurse.
