Synopsis: "Consummate" Genevieve Narrative 2
With no ties to her previous hundred years as a Vampire, Genevieve leaves with the vampire she made. She knows there's a lot to tell him but has no idea where to start... It will change their eternity together.
And they are both worried what will happen the first time he comes in contact with other Vampires and attempts to live around mortals.
Unfortunately they have even more important things to worry about. The boy who had been turned by Gideon is out there and he's planning his revenge. Torture and death won't be enough to quench him.
And my Vampires are blood sucking killer Vampires. None of that mamsy pamsy vegetarian stuff lol
Excerpt: "Consummate" Genevieve Narrative 2
“Awww come on you guys knew it was me before I even made it up the front steps onto the porch! Couldn’t you have done something cool like open the door before I got to it or opened it super fast and swept me into the room? I mean really you guys! Where is your Vampire sense of the dramatic?” She said waving an arm about in an overly dramatic fashion and falling into the nearby couch feigning a faint spell.
Grey laughed and walked over to the couch where she was laid out. With one solid movement he picked the couch up to eye level and grinned showing off his fangs.
“Better?” He said with a wink.
“Not nearly scary enough.” She replied crossing her arms across her chest.
“I don’t have a lot of practice in scary. Maybe this is something Genevieve should handle.” He said glancing across the room rather nonchalantly.
“Yeah right!” Eden scoffed loudly. “Genevieve? HER? Like she could terrify anyone.” She said laughing full out now.
Suddenly the room went pitch black. There was a rushing sound like air coming through the room and an inaudible whisper. Eden knew it was just Genevieve and Grey trying to get the best of her and she attempted to remain calm. She could feel her heart beating in her throat and she grasped gently onto the arm of the couch. The room seemed dead calm as if they weren’t even there.
Eden’s eyes darted around the room but there was absolutely no source of light to draw on to see the unfamiliar room. She heard a sound again but behind her this time and she turned toward it in hopes of catching sight of one of the Vampires in the room but they seemed almost invisible.
“All right you win.” She said with a slight tremor in her voice.
“We always win.” Came a voice that had to be Genevieve’s but it didn’t seem… human.
That’s when she realized she couldn’t move her arms and legs. She was pinned where she sat on the couch. The hold was strong but not painful. However her breaths started to come quicker and a bead of sweat began to swell above her eyebrow.
“Please don’t!” She finally squeaked out closing her eyes tight as she felt a pair of lips at her throat.
“Don’t what?” The mouth whispered against her skin.
