Synopsis: Angel of God
As soon as she can duck out of her mother's funeral in Atlanta, Sydney Ross hits the road back to Chicago, drinking herself into near oblivion for three nights running. She wakes at last in a convent with no recollection of the night before nor of the guy to whom she'd given the keys to her car, a red 2005 Ford Mustang. Within a week, Sydney is suspended from her job, her car is being pulled from the Mississippi River, and the guy is found dead after visiting an elderly Czech woman in a small Iowa town.
