Brief Author Bio: The abridged version is I've been born and I am still breathing, but ... I'm a journalist who has just recently moved to Toronto. I've been writing since I was able to hold a pencil, and have a rogue wave of an imagination. I love most genres, dislike the Gobi Desert dryness called CanLit and appreciate the antihero theme. |

Synopsis: Spanish Train
Based loosely on the song by Chris DeBurgh, "Spanish Train", the story follows the life of the railway man's son, who is now being courted by the devil to take the place of his father, eningeering the infamous train that runs from Quadalquivir and old Seville.
God isn't around these days, since most of the souls on Earth have been lost to the devil, and it's up to the very few pure souls left in Spain to shoo the chief demon away.
