Synopsis: Death's Little Changeling (working title, haha)

Death, for reasons unknown, makes a bit of a mistake and brings 17 year-old Anya to the afterlife instead of her chronically ill best friend. Once there, Anya must undergo rigorous (and at times humorous) training at the "spirit academy" with all of the other ghosts who have unfinished business to attend to before they can move on... all in the hopes that she can finally meet the being with the power to send her back where she belongs. However, just how much of an "accident" is Anya's death? And, if given the chance to return to her life, will her love for her friend allow her to take it? Maybe we'll find out if I can get this novel written!
