Synopsis: The Divide
This is a story about a group of diverse people with a common drive, and the bonds that form over the next three years that they know one another, as they forge powerful friendships, live their lives, and, eventually, have to move on to their next adventures. This is also a story about that eventual, inevitable separation, the divide.
Excerpt: The Divide
It’s not the first time she has used the adjective “snarky” to describe something I’ve done, and she misuses it so badly that maybe she wasn't even talking about me at all. After all, it’s just as likely that she was reading a recipe in a cookbook that called for an ingredient she didn’t like, which she then took personally and accused of snarking at her. Who knows, at this point, is all I’m saying.
