“So, bugs?”
“Bugs. I’ve never seen anything like it. I went in to clean out a nest. Standard job.” Melissa caught Red up on what had happened. Despite the attention to detail and a slight exaggeration of the events, Red didn’t seem to grasp the gravity of the situation. Melissa released a frustrated sigh. She decided to get right to the point.
“The guy had fangs.”
“Vampire?”
“No, like spider fangs. Like a spider was inside, riding him. Driving him. Like it crawled right on in and took him for a ride.”
