Brief Author Bio: Northern California native going from Rancho Cordova to Chico to Redding to Vacaville. Then jumping to Southampton, Long Island, for college. Then back to the Bay Area. Although I say I want to be a writer, I spend more time bogged down in daily life and procrastination. But just saying I want to be a writer has kept me from finding any other true career. Synopsis: The Angel in The Den
An angel walks into a bar. ...
No, it's not the set-up for a bad joke but the setting for my 5th NaNoWriMo novel.
It is set in San Francisco at a local "gentlemen's club" where a young woman works. She has two other jobs just to make ends meet, but she dances at the club because she enjoys it. It is the one place she most feels able to express herself, while also feeling the most constrained. That is, of course, until the day when an a man comes in that changes her life. But is he really a man? And then throw in lots of complications including an earthquake more damaging to The City than the 1989 Loma Prieta.
"The Angel In The Den" is an exercise in nudity, bad 80's rock music, and flashy disaster and violence!
