Shadows

Each day had passed, a new year here,
Souls to seek, passions appear,
Then one day we meet, a shadow through time,
Who teaches o past and present divine.

Voice that rings of hollow contempt,
That leads astray, wisdom of time,
That needs no proof, just a willing mind.

Is it the voice of a wondering soul?
Voice of a needful woe?
Wishing to help or hinder just so,
That we might find an answer below?

Personalities of such could be twisted together,
Wondering where clues shall go,
Hoping to somehow uncover a truth,
Is this how it happens today?

Read along, the day draws near,
Our protagonist is here,
Hearing his voice, following the thunder,
Wanting truth to be unveiled

Needing to seek, to hear, to cry,
To find out all the reasons why,
Each person vanished, without a trace,
What happens to the human race?

Each answer leads to more questions alas,
Can the dead find peace, find it at last?
Can our careful person find,
Truth, redemption, peace and love,
Doomed to chase the shadows wills,
What way is the best, to seek such truth,
To follow the land, the trail, the clues,
Each path gets tangled, each truth distorted,
Each one hides something, darker past exposed,
One hopes the answers come before ones death.

Listen close, and you can hear….
The hollow whispers of that shadow we fear….
The words surround the mind, searching,
Needing to find an answer so clear, listen, listen, take heed….
