Born and raised on a sugar plantation in Hawaii.
BA Microbiology, Rutgers U. Worked as a nurse, research technician, and lab manager of a cancer institute. Began writing in 2004.
Lived in southern CA, NJ, and Egypt. Currently reside on Chesapeake Bay with husband and sailboat.
Short and mainstream fiction. Publications: Journal Neuroscience, The Gunpowder Review.
