As she was stepping out of the dinghy elevator, she felt a warm, soft, brief touch on the small of her back. Her head snapped a bit to the left in surprise, almost stopped in her tracks, but she walked on with him leading her out the elevator, his hand dropping away as they left.
She almost hurried to the escalator ahead of the others, unsettled and a bit rattled. Oh my god, she thought. She could still feel the warm imprint of his hand.
