THE WOLVAMPIRE CHRONICLES

CHAPTER 1:
A forgotten start
Upon waking up in bleary daylight I was confused as to where I was I had not seen the sun come up yet I seemed to be in a bed and when I tried to get up some lady told me I was to stay laying down because I had been knocked unconscious. I asked the strange lady what had knocked me unconscious and she said that she only knew that a brown haired girl had brought me in and was sitting right near me asleep in a chair, I thanked the lady and asked her where I was she said “your in the hospital sir.” as she walked away I said thank you and then she left. After laying in the hospital bed for a few more minutes I looked at the brown haired girl and politely tried to wake her up to thank her. It took me a little more than what I believe was a half-hour, finally the brown haired girl woke up I asked her why she saved me and what had hit me, she said “you were hit by a car that had swerved off the road you were lucky to escape with just that bump, and I saved you because you are the love of my life and you are my boyfriend don’t you remember?”. I told her that I did not remember anything and I did not even know my own name; when I told her that I did not even know my own name she said that I must have amnesia from the bump on my head. While she was sitting there I looked down at my arm and noticed two small holes that looked like something had bit me I asked the brown haired girl where these bites had come from and she said that she could not tell me just yet. As I laid there in the bed I began to wonder who was I, where did this girl come from, and most of all why I had two small holes in my arm, while I pondered all this in my mind I began to think about what the brown haired girls name was and why she wouldn’t tell me too much about any of what I asked, finally I decided that I would lay down and try to sleep some more maybe the answers would come to me in a dream. As I dreamt I saw a car swerving of the road hitting me the brown haired girl yelled Will and then I had the answer as to who I was yet nothing else was clear to me. The next morning the brown haired girl came back and asked how I felt as she had been doing for the past week I told her that I was great and I knew who I was, she asked “if so who are you?” I told her that my name was Will. She told me that was right and asked how I figured it out, so I sat there telling her all about the dream I had the night before and how it had her yelling my name and that in the dream she had managed to get from the complete opposite side of the to where I was standing in only split seconds yet she had managed to stop the car within mere seconds and after that I blacked out that was all I could get from this one dream. Even though the dream telling me who I was ceased to exist I still learned more and more about who I was during my nights there at the hospital. When the day finally came to leave the hospital the girl who still hadn’t told me her name was looking even more beautiful than the first time I had seen her, it was as though there was a new glow to her overwhelming beauty. I asked her why she seemed so different than when we were in the hospital and she said “it could be because after over a month in this boring hospital you finally see me in the sun again”. When I asked what she meant by again she said that she would not answer the question so I gave up and said where do I live, she knew I was serious and said “well before the accident we were living at the apartments near the college I think you will remember a lot more by being home again”. I said ok and we went to the apartment when I walked in the door I took a long look around it seemed very nice and the temperature in the apartment was exactly what I liked or at least thought I did, after I finished looking around I went to look in the bedroom as I was in there I remembered everything that had happened before the accident and what truly happened; my mind was trying to figure all of what had transpired at that moment out then I thought back to what I had remembered thinking of the brown haired girls name when I found it in my memory I yelled out “Emily!” just as I said it she came rushing in knowing what had just occurred, I told her how everything I forgot came back to me in one big flash then I said “Emily I know what happened now it wasn’t a car you aren’t exactly human you’re a vampire you saved me from another one and we live in Placerville or at least used to!” when I said this she told me “yes I am a vampire and that was one thing you loved about me and hopefully you still do. Now I can tell you what the glow you saw earlier was it was only partially because we were outside truly it is a side effect of being a vampire we glow in sunlight and since I’ve worked on my hunger for human blood you have always been safe are you still ok with that?” I said yes and we continued talking about it for another few hours then I asked “so how far have we gone you know in bed?” she said “ we had just done it for the first time before Jake the vampire who had been after you had knocked you unconscious but we don’t have to worry about him anymore my family killed him we try not to kill other vampires if we can help it but he, well he has no respect for anyone he always stayed alone.” slowly she got up and walked closer to me looking directly into my eyes and I was looking into hers I stood up and we started in on what was supposed to be a very passionate kiss, right then the phone rang, and I knew instantly who was calling I walked into the living room looking at the phone ringing and without knowing what I was doing I picked the phone up but not with my hands I was using my mind, I was overly shocked at this point and asked Emily what was wrong with me. She said “that’s just how you’ve been ever since you started coming over to my family’s house you somehow picked up some of my family’s powers we never meant for it to happen but it was only a small change for you.” I picked up the phone and my friend Matt was on the other line waiting for someone to say hello finally after a few minutes I said “hello?” Matt said “No way, Will? Your home from the hospital awesome how are you?” I said “ok I think I’m still a little confused by everything but I will get used to it.” Matt said “ Cool that’s awesome well when your feeling better in a week or two lets go hang out cool? Give me a call. Bye.” I was about to say bye to but before I could he had hung up then Emily walked back over to me and said that Matt had been waiting for weeks for me to get better calling almost once a day knowing Emily had gone to see me at the hospital. A few hours later after we were laying next to Emily I asked what had made us decide to move in together?, at first she wouldn’t tell me but after I kept asking she finally said “it’s because we felt it better for us to live in the same place that way the rogue vampire could not get to you unless I left you alone, which I chose not to do I stayed at the hospital almost constantly, I only left when I needed my drink which wasn’t hard to get.” shortly after we finished this conversation we decided that it was time for us to go take a shower, I figured that while I was in the hospital Emily must have had very little time to go take a shower so we decided on taking one together which apparently was something we had done constantly in the past, and after we finished our shower I asked if she would like me to cook but she said “I think its to soon for you to cook just yet you just got home how about we order take out anything you want dear?” I reluctantly said ok and we ordered a large very nice pizza and a bottle of cola from the local pizza place. After we finished stuffing our selves with pizza we decided it was time to rest if not sleep so we headed to the bedroom, except while we were heading there I managed to hear what I thought was someone speaking in another cultures language I shook my head figuring that I must be trying to get back to how things used to be and then we went to sleep. When I awoke it was obvious to me that I loved her very much and if I lost her I would be very sad, and could imagine how I lived without her deep down I had known this the entire time even after I had lost my memory. After sitting up in bed for twenty minutes Emily entered and asked “how did you sleep dear?” I said “ Very well I am glad to be in a real bed again, those hospital beds were hell on my back babe, I love you so much.” slowly Emily came over closer to me leaned near my face and kissed me passionately. I decided it was time I get back outside. I walked out the front door telling Emily not to worry about me and grabbed my cell phone so I could call her if I had to. Once outside I decided I would go to the forest and hang out underneath the shade of the trees, some of them were literally talking to me ,or at least I could hear what the trees thought about, and I was able to talk with them, I asked the trees how they thought the weather was, and if it was going to change or stay the same. One of the trees said “it feels to me as though it is going to start raining in the next hour or two, I will do my best to keep you dry Will as will my brothers, you have saved us from being destroyed time and time again, but not just you Emily helped you save us.” I said. “ What do you mean I and Emily saved you? How did we save you, I am still recovering from my amnesia.” the tree said. “ Oh my! You and Emily have saved us by telling the town that this forest is the only one left in town and there were no other real trees to produce oxygen in this town and to build their mall in that old abandon lot over there, and then you saved us from the fire demons, and even a rogue vampire named Nate, he tried to light my brother on the edge of the forest on fire, but you and Emily showed up just in time and scared him off so we owe you, and we are your friends you are very good at talking with any thing that grows animal or plant it seems, you told us once you talked to a dog named Sampson, said he was a good dog but someone got rid of him and you never saw him again.” I said “Holy crap I can talk to other stuff than just you trees good lord this has gotten stranger and stranger, guess I best get used to it huh?” The tree said. “yes its just going to continue getting weirder unless you expect weird stuff to happen.” after talking with the elder tree I decided I would go back home. Once I got close to home I heard something rustling in the bushes outside my house, slowly I approached the bush and said “ if there is anyone in there get out” the bush said “there is a vampire hiding in me whether she is good or bad I do not know Mr. Will” I said thank you to the bush and looked inside it to see Emily hiding in the bush. I asked Emily why she was hiding in the bush. She said “ Aw I wanted to surprise you damn it I wish you didn’t have the power to talk to the plants and animals ,oh well” I asked Emily why she wanted to surprise me. She said. “because today is your birthday! Duh.” I said ok and we went inside the lights were off I flipped them on and then without thinking all my friends popped up from behind the furniture and said “Surprise!” I was so glad to see all of my friends that I hadn’t seen or at least didn’t remember seeing for the past month, they all walked up to me and said happy birthday and then Matt said. “lets eat already so we can watch him tear those presents open!” We all sat down to have a nice meal that Emily had cooked while I was out in the forest. The meal consisted of tri tip steak and seasoned red potatoes. After I finished opening my presents people slowly started to leave but not without saying happy birthday one more time, Matt was the last one to leave. After the sun went down I looked outside and saw the wonderfully beautiful full moon shortly after seeing the moon something started happening to me; I began to grow fur all over and I asked Emily “what is happening to me?” she rushed in and said “ Oh that it’s a transformation you are turning into a werewolf, because we love each other our families put aside there differences and are not feuding anymore.” I gave up on asking many questions about these weird occurrences at least asking Emily about them. After looking at my new form in the mirror I didn’t really mind it that much I actually liked it and went out to the forest making sure no one saw me. Once I got to the forest I asked the trees how this happened, why I was a werewolf , the tree said “as far back as we can remember you were born this way but that is what we have heard, for all we know you could have gotten in a fight with a wolf that had the werewolf gene in him so you could protect your beloved Emily. But that is just one of our thoughts on it.” I thanked the tree and went back home, but on the way home I saw something hiding behind one of the trees I asked who was there and got no reply, I asked again still no reply, finally I said if someone doesn’t answer me when I count to three I’m coming over there. I counted to three and the thing behind the tree still hadn’t come out from hiding, I walked up to the tree and looked behind it to find a tiny elf hiding behind the tree slowly I went to pick up the elf but just as I tried to he grew five times my size and started attacking me throwing punch after punch and fireball after fiery fire ball, I realized he must have been what was messing my thoughts up when I had heard someone’s mind the night before. While the elf kept attacking I tried swinging a few punches of my own but the elf was quick on his feet dodging my swings, finally in the language that allowed me to communicate with the trees I asked what powers do werewolves have? The tree said “you have an ice punch a fire punch they are also kicks too, oh and before I forget you have ice breath and a loud howl.” after finding this out I tried my ice breath on the elf and froze his feet to the ground after that I started to pummel him in fiery punches and froze him the rest of the way. After battling the elf I went back home and told Emily about the elf. Emily said “Oh that is Brandon he has been trying to get rid of you for sometime now he never has been able to succeed were both far stronger than he and as long as he doesn’t get the elvin strength stone we are always stronger than him apart from each other.” After I learned about the elvin monster Emily told me that Brandon was an outcast from the elvish society because all creatures that were supposed to be of mythical decent were to get along with one another and protect their culture. When I got out of bed the next day I recalled that I hadn’t had any equipment hooked up to me at the hospital and wondered why this was so I asked Emily why and she said “its because as a werewolf your skin in human form and in werewolf is impervious to needles and well damn near anything.” As I went off on my own again I picked up my cell phone and called Matt after it rang once I heard on the other line “Hey Will what’s up want to kick it at the pizza place and shoot some pool?” I said “sure I’ll be there in twenty minutes” then we both hung up and I continued on my jog but it seemed lately my only thought was to jog instead of walk everywhere. While I was jogging to the pizza parlor I saw a few pixies and they seemed astounded by me I wondered what was the big deal with me its not like I did something amazingly wonderful or was to was I? As I neared the pizza parlor I saw Matt sitting on the hood of his car waiting; nowadays it seemed you could always find him somewhere sitting on the hood of his car who knows what he was thinking of while he was sitting there but this was just him he was always good with the ladies it seemed like for someone who was book smart he seemed to know how to get his girl but again that was just the way Matt was. I stopped my jog right before he saw me and said “ What’s up dude?” as I finished my walk to his car he was rambling on oblivious to my presence I heard him say something about the moon and then said “MATT” he damn near fell off the hood of his car and said “Oh hey what’s up didn’t see or hear you, you are one silent person and I thought I was ninja stealth.” after this we went in got the pool balls and headed down to the pool tables to shoot a few rounds and have some pizza and a couple cokes. During the game I kept wondering what it was he was saying earlier about the moon I thought about asking him but then decided to wait and ask Emily when I got home because I thought maybe she would know why he was talking about the moon but for now it was time to play some pool. Matt and I were a pretty even match in pool I couldn’t remember whether we were an even match in every thing we played against each other in or not. As we continued playing our games of pool I was wondering in the back of my mind why he had been mumbling about the moon, to me it was an odd statement for someone who had not known anything of our world as far as I knew Emily hadn't said a word about it. I was thinking about asking him but right as I was about to my phone rang I picked it up and saw that it was Emily's cell, I wondered what it could have been so I answered and heard on the other line her voice saying "Baby come home there are some more things I need to tell you that I thought you should know." with that I said to Matt "sorry bro Emily needs something from the town, call later we can try to finish our game of pool another time sorry." he didn't seem to mind, and with that I rushed out the door in one swift moment. I had never noticed that I walked so swift or so gracefully I was curious of this even though I was a tall fairly average male brown hair and brown eyes a kind look upon my face and a weird reddish color that I'd had since the day I was born, to me the shape was as if Magneto from the X-men comics had a backwards helmet that he forgot to take off while sitting in the sun one day without sun block. I got home as quickly as I could and then slowly I entered the house and found Emily sitting there in her chair a look on her face stunned me, something I had not seen on any one persons face for a long time to me it was disconcerting, more or less a frightening look that would scare almost anything but with her beautiful face, her brown eyes that shifted from left to right and then to me, her long brown hair, just the look of her right then made me want her even more. I slowly walked up to Emily and asked "So what is it you wanted to tell me hon?" I asked with curiosity in my voice, I wasn't able to tell if I was lying or being serious but then she spoke up and said "your no normal werewolf as I'm sure you've figured out by now, you just so happen to be the first of a breed that has just recently started through you and I, your more or less a were vampire, you have all the weaknesses of a werewolf and vampire but twice the strength, and your going to be the father of a werevampire, cause I'm pregnant. It happened the night you got home from the hospital and we made love." As she said this the look of shock on my face became greater by the minute she continued on about how the child was going to be a half vampire half werewolf instead of only being a werewolf or vampire. Later that night I asked Emily "why would Matt have been mumbling about the moon?" she looked at me with a startled look on her face obviously forgetting I still do not remember much that had happened after the accident. Finally Emily said "Oh right you forgot that we told Matt about what we were he took the news quite well it seemed." I said " ah ok that makes sense now." I was still partially confused by all of this. As I was standing there listening to Emily I asked her " would you like something to eat?" Emily said "Yes I would what did you have in mind?" I said "hmm well what do we have here around the house babe?" She said "well shit I’m not to sure what we have actually cause I never left your side at the hospital." I couldn’t believe that she had stayed at the hospital the entire time I was there. While Emily was looking for some food that could be used to make a nice and romantic cuisine she finally re-entered the room and said "damn it we don’t have damn near anything for food, I guess we have to go to the grocery store." I said "Ok but how much money do we have to use towards groceries?" she said "well actually I'm not to sure let me go check that babe." As she went to check this my curiosity boiled up again and I thought to my self well if were vampires how come we can eat regular food and I figured that since I was half vampire and half werewolf I figured I probably only needed a little blood and a little real food so I decided I would ask Emily about this when she got back from checking the computer in the next room. As Emily entered the living room I asked "how come we are getting real food since we are vampires shouldn’t we only need the blood to sustain ourselves?" she said "Well you need the real food cause being vampire and werewolf you also have some human left in you that needs the sustenance for that side, but other wise you get your fill on the animals we hunt in the forest your werewolf and vampire side both, your actually quite ravenous when were hunting down our food, I've seen you literally tear a bear in half it was a little shocking." I was amazed by this and then another question crossed my mind and I said "Who became a vampire first?" Emily said "well you did but I had asked you to turn me into a vampire for years but you wouldn't have it and a couple times you had ran away from me because apparently you desired my blood so badly that it fueled your urge to protect me from others" I was amazed at this but I was immediately interrupted by Emily telling me "We need to get to the store before it closes we have one hundred and fifty dollars that we can use on groceries, go start the car." and with that I was off to our truck which was a long bed and had room enough for three people. The roar of the engine reminded me of when I used to drive it to high school when it scared everyone almost to death. Emily hoped in the passenger side and we were off to the store. The whole way to the grocery store I was remembering more and more about the past like how I met her and how long I had been alive for and I was twenty when I had become a vampire which by now meant I was two thousand and twenty years old. When we finally made it to the grocery store I saw that there was a picture in the smallest fraction of the glass that only we could see apparently we had saved this store from either a rogue vampire or Brandon whatever it was it was still partially thanks to me it was standing. I entered the store through the main entrance hoping there was nothing that I'd have to deal with in my unfortunate fantasy realm which was actually a horrible reality. I felt as though I had been trapped in a horrible reality show but the true horror was that this had been and is my life for as long as I have known which I have yet to understand why I was chosen to be cursed as the Wolvampire; But was it really a curse or was I here to help both myth and reality become one I am not sure. After buying our groceries we went back the apartment, put the groceries in their spots, then I decided to drive out to the forest to talk with Elm one of the older trees I had spoken to earlier in the month. After I spoke with Elm for an hour I took out my cell phone and asked Matt if he wanted to hang out for a bit maybe play some baseball, he said “ Will you can’t play baseball today remember you have that extra strength that makes it sound as though there is an earthquake.” damn well after I asked him that I said “well then what do you have in mind?” Matt said “ meet me at the creek behind the pizza parlor I’ll tell you then” so I drove to the creek and sure enough Matt was there sitting on the hood of his car again, this time he saw me but still mentioned my quietness. Matt said “ turn the truck off and get in I’ve got something you have to see.” So I got in his car and we drove out to what looked like an old abandoned race track. As we walked up to the gate I saw what looked like a grain of sand but it was floating in mid air and in the moment after that Matt pulled the grain and opened a gigantic door opening into yet another part of this screwed up fantasy world but in this part laid all of my allies apparently according to what Matt had told me. After we left Matt drove me straight to the house apparently forgetting that I drove to the creek. As we pulled up to the driveway I saw my truck sitting in the driveway and decided I was just going to go along with this twisted world. I got out of Matt’s car said good bye and spoke to the bush that was always outside the door and it told me “you realize that you and Emily are creating a better world right your not only vampire but werewolf as well our world can only get better from vampires and werewolves coming together its been waiting to happen for centuries now its been long over do and when you went into that coma we thought we were going to lose our world for good but we wont now because you’ve created a safer world not only for us creatures of legend but for the humans too only a few know of our world thus far but soon both worlds are going to walk hand in hand creating the greatest society of all since we creatures of legend can offer so much to the human world and save it from a destruction that is part of a prophecy that only you and Emily can stop from coming true.” After I was done speaking with the bush I decided I would wander out to the edge of the forest which seemed more wonderful than it usually was the river sitting there was rushing faster than id noticed before it was a most amazing and wonderful thing to see. While I stood at the edge of the hill leading to the river a red fox jumped across and when it did so it started to change and after a second my friend Matt was in the place of the fox which confused me more than anything else in my screwed up world. I wondered why Matt didn’t tell me that he was able to turn into a fox before but lately I had just decided to put up with the crazy world at hand and so with seeing this I transformed my body into my werewolf form and ran out into the forest to see how long it would take Matt to catch up with me. When I got to the edge of the forest Matt was sitting there on a tree branch, I was uncertain of how he beat me to that end of the forest and then I remembered seeing a bird flying overhead which I had just ignored as I got to the tree Matt stood in I shifted into my human form. Matt asked me if I knew that I was not exactly a werewolf I was merely a creature of many shapes I could become any animal I wanted but or anything I wanted but I preferred the wolf because it had meaning to me apart from it being my favorite animal, guess I had some research left to do on my past. Matt had mentioned he also has this power but he didn’t have a great control over it yet I did because I’d been born with the power. After my interesting talk with Matt I decided that I was going to try to learn how to shift into different things I figured I might even be able to shift into a few other creatures that are not real or at least not real to the human world. As I practiced my shifting I began wondering was I as naive as those humans when I was a mere mortal as I pondered it I figured I must be they didn’t seem like very bright creatures just curious ones and even though I had an urge to drink their blood over the ages I somehow managed to stop myself from doing such. During my practice I managed to shift into a bird of tremendous size and realized it was more like a dinosaur a pterodactyl type bird if you will, I must have been fantasizing about the new dinosaur film that was coming out in the coming months where it made you feel as though you really were there with the dinosaurs even the commercial made it feel real, after this small dilemma I tried a smaller bird and boy did I get what I tried for I was a humming bird fast wings pointed beak the whole deal. I decided I would try and scare Emily just once knowing my powers better now so I morphed into a very tiny bug so I could sneak under the windowsill after that I thought for a moment and morph into the dog Cujo from that old movie sure it wasn’t scary but I figure nothing is scary for a vampire I mean we are supposedly these ugly blood sucking hide from the sun creatures yet none of us do that we walk around you on a daily basis, you never know for all you know your friend or the person next to you could easily be a vampire but I’m certain that they’ve learned how to keep their urge away from killing you I mean we don’t want to kill the innocent ; now the ones who are either about to die or have committed a horrible crime against humanity their ours for the taking, I know it sounds horrible but they all die a very peaceful death well depending on what we know of them. As I rounded a corner there was Emily sitting on the couch unaware of the fact I had shifted into a mock of Cujo I snarled and jumped at her but mid jump I shifted to myself and landed right beside her on the comfy couch now she probably could have seen that coming but I guess sometimes I can stop her from seeing things it must come with these awesome powers. I was glad I had changed back to my human form and landed next to her because for the slightest few moments I had forgotten that she was pregnant with our child I have to remember not to do that again and to remember even though we are tough as nails we do not know if the child is as such.
As soon as I was done scaring Emily I asked her if she would like to go somewhere and get some dinner, she said yes and was down to the truck in only about five seconds I took a minute cause I don’t like to use my vampire powers in the open like she does. When I got down to the truck Emily had already hoped into the drivers seat telling me it was her turn to pick where we were going to eat so I decided that I would see if I could morph into a mouse while she was driving, I had been enjoying being able to morph into all these animals but I got bored of being a mouse and morphed into a Bengal white tiger cub that way I wasn’t seen morphing and wouldn’t break my truck. It seemed that with every animal I morphed into I remembered more and more of my past and what had happened at that accident. We were almost to the restaurant when Emily saw something far in the forest I told her I would go and check it out as I morphed into a cheetah, I got to the spot Emily had been looking at and saw a giant two headed hideous, horrible smelling troll with two heads and one eye on each head both heads were different from the other one seemed like a males head and the others a female, I figured they might be hostile and went back to being human but managed to go to vampire instead ready for a fight. I asked the hideous creature “What is your name?” It took it a matter of seconds to respond “ My name is Dannitha!” The hideous creature boomed and then I asked it “ What are you doing in this forest?” It responded “ We have come to destroy you.” I was ready for the fight as I shifted from vampire to wolf and ran up against the side of the monster sniffing for the weakest spot in its skin and after a few seconds I found the spot and shifted back into vampire form and took a large bite out of its side, It yelled and tried to swat at me like a fly I narrowly avoided it shifting back into a wolf in mid jump, I went back to find another weak spot in the things skin this time it was ready for me as I tried to avoid its hand I got smacked against one of the elder trees in the forest; Now it was my turn to think thoroughly as I was thinking this through I decided it was time to shift into a bird flying high above the monsters head where it couldn’t see me then dive bombed down near the monster shifting to smaller and smaller birds that were even faster then shifting into my wolf form again clawing at its back climbing up its side again sniffing for that weak spot in its skin and as I sniffed I found that if I detached one of its heads the monster would die and leave the forest I loved so much alone. I went after the monsters less disgusting head which was hard to decide considering they both smelled of the foulest odor that any one has ever smelled I morphed into a micro organism and went the rest the way up the monsters back then went back to being my vampire self and snapped the female neck and then bite through its skin and pulled the head all the way off just barely jumping out of the way when it fell with a loud “Thud!” After defeating Dannitha I told the trees I thanked them for the help on defeating the evil creature then morphed back to wolf form and ran back to the truck were Emily was waiting for me; I jumped in the truck and was wagging my wolf tail when Emily reminded me “You might want to change to human form again people might stare if they see a wolf in a truck dear.” I had all but forgotten what form I was and morphed back into my human form and then told Emily “Sorry you just know how much I love that wolf form and now I have more forms I can morph into and I’m even remembering more of my past with every morph; So where are we going for dinner tonight anyways since you decided to drive my truck tonight dear?” She told me we were going to a new restaurant that had just opened up and she had wanted to try it for sometime now which was all fine and good with me. I decided I would just sit back and relax till we got to our destination. It seemed I had dosed off because the next thing I knew we were at the restaurant parking lot and Emily was waking me up telling me we were there and to morph into human again. I wondered what she had meant by that and looked up in the mirror and saw I had morphed back into my wolf form again. Apparently even in my sleep I could morph without any notice of it I didn’t even remember having a dream that might have triggered me to morph so I morphed back to human form. As I got out of the truck Emily was standing next to me knowing something I didn’t because in the next moment I had fallen over luckily she had caught me she told me that my morphing in sleep usually caused me to have wobbly legs later on when I woke up I was shocked that I did have a flaw but every one has one don’t they? Emily and I walked to the door of the restaurant and asked for a private both for two and the lady at the podium thing lead us to our table far in the back away from any noise and any one who could over hear whatever we had said then I got to looking at who the lady was and it was my friend Michelle apparently she had found a better paying job than the one at the casino after she let us sit down and not order our drinks cause she new them already I asked Emily “ Does Michelle know about us being what we are?” Emily said “ Your about to get your answer to that.” As I looked over I saw that Michelle had brought us each a glass of a red liquid at first I didn’t understand then I took a drink and realized it was blood glorious wonderful tasting blood and asked Michelle “ok so exactly what are you in this crazy screwed up world?” She said “ Honestly I am just a normal human yet I know more about you two than I would have known before but you guys kind of told me a few days before you got clobbered and ended up in the hospital.” While talking with Michelle something was telling me to trust her just as I apparently had done before going into the hospital I wondered how much more she knew so I decided I would ask. “ Hey Michelle how much have we shown you of our crazy jacked up world?” I asked, curious to know more about my past and why I’ve seen my and Emily’s picture in super small shards of glass.
Michelle started rambling on about what she has seen of our weird world and said she didn't know anything about the shards of glass so I asked Emily "do you know why our picture seems to be in those shards of glass?" I asked, curious to know. Emily said " Well of course I know but that's for me to know and you to remember." she said. Emily realized I was getting pissed now not being able to know all of my past and said " Calm down wolf boy its just how its got to be the vampire lord said so." she said. I was wondering who this vampire lord was and just were their lair was so I asked “ Emily would it be ok if we went and saw this vampire lord I wonder if maybe by seeing him I will gain my memories more?” I asked. Emily said “ Certainly we can see the vampire lord you do know you’re his cousin right?” she said questioningly. I was shocked to hear this and said “NO WAY which one of my cousins is the vampire lord?” I asked. Emily said “ Well your cousin Andy is of course he seems to have a good rule and everyone obeys him, he is a great ruler better than the Chinese vampire lord.” she said. I had to catch my self for I almost doubled over in laughter Andy a vampire lord that’s hilarious he never seemed like he would become royalty even in a mythical life but I guess it just goes to show “ Never judge a book by its cover.” As we got in my truck Emily decided to drive again so I decided I would do some more changing into creatures small ones though so no one would see me I was having so much fun I decided I would hop up on the seat and morph into a pug then jump up on the dash board and look out the window and then I saw it Andy wasn’t just a vampire lord he was the new governor of California but that wasn’t his home he had a nice house only a block away from the capitol but Emily said “ Ok were going to have to wait at Andy’s house till he gets done with his day.” she said. I said ok and began to get bored waiting apparently Andy still hadn’t found the girl for him and then I got bored again and started morphing into medium sized animals and even that began to get boring cause Emily wouldn’t let me try being big giant extinct animals unlike when we were at home and so I got a little mad at her but said fine and morphed back to my human form. Five hours past and I changed to my wolf form as Andy entered the door wearing his black suit.
Andy said “ I’ve been wondering when you two were going to come over I have known at least that my little cousin has been out of the hospital for a while but not when you were to show up I am very glad you did now maybe we can help him regain the rest of his memories that are locked away.” he said. As soon as I changed back to my vampire form I began to remember all of my old memories and exactly what had happened that day I got knocked out and exactly what I was doing when it happened. I was so happy to finally have my memories back I thanked Andy and jumped around like an excited monkey ironically I had just morphed into one right when I though it instead of having to think about it for like a minute before I actually morphed now I was complete and as normal as a vampire human morph thing could be it was a miracle.

CHAPTER 2:
Vengeance of the trolls

After regaining my memories Andy asked “ Will how do you feel to have your memories restored?” he asked. “ It’s amazing I’m so happy to have all of them restored.” I said. After that I and Emily left Andy’s house and went out to the forest were I had just not but two hours ago defeated Dannitha an evil troll that had been the true cause of why I had been knocked unconscious for so long. When we got into the forest I got out of the truck and saw something that horrified me there were more trolls here but they weren’t as ugly and smelly or two headed like Dannitha was they actually looked close to human minus the tusks protruding from the sides of their mouths I could tell that I must have made them very mad for killing Dannitha. I asked the trolls “ What is the matter fellow creatures?” I asked. The eldest of the trolls stepped forward and spoke “ I am Remba the elder troll and what is wrong with us is that you have killed our lord and we are here to get avenge our fallen leader for we now have no more clue as to what our goal or purpose is in life and we had a mind link to our lord.” the elder troll Remba said. “ I am terribly sorry that I killed your lord but I had no choice when it had knocked me out months ago there seemed no reason for that and so when I saw Dannitha coming after me earlier today I had no choice but to kill again I am terribly sorry for your loss.” I said. “LIES” Remba said. The battle was about to begin but I asked “ Remba would you mind if I have a couple days to train before this considering the fact that your lord had knocked me out and I was out for months with no memory of this world?” I asked. Remba agreed with my plea and said “ We shall have a three day alliance then both are allowed to train and talk whether with each other or not but if either side make an attempt to kill any of the others the war shall re ensue today being Tuesday the war shall begin on Friday at nine at night so as not to be seen by the human world.” Remba said. We both agreed and went our separate ways but one small troll wanted to come with me and Emily his name was Werd he seemed to be still a very young child and his mother had said it was ok for us to go with them that way no one would make an attempt to kill either side before Fridays battle. I asked Werd what he thought of Me and Emily “ I think so far you seem to be a kind couple of people I just don’t trust my own heritage they cheat in war a lot and I mean A LOT but Remba seems ok but that’s cause he is old and doesn’t like to cheat anymore I can tell you two don’t cheat just by looking at you I understand why you had to kill Dannitha and I know you have your memory back Will.” Werd said. I was taken aback by everything this child had just said he new what had occurred the entire day I wondered what his gift was for I remembered that certain troll children were given gifts like powers it seemed he had the power of telling the future also known as being I psychic which I normally don’t believe in but for the fact he seemed to know so much already Werd seemed like a good kid I wondered if he was going to be in the battle on Friday. “ Yes I am going to be” Werd said. Not only was he psychic he could read minds? This child seemed more and more amazing by the minute I wondered whose side he would be on but he wouldn’t give me an answer to that and then I decided to ask. “ Do you have much hatred against us for killing your lord?” I asked. “ No I was sick of that mind link it made us do everything we had no choice but to obey it if we tried on our own to kill it then it would kill us itself it has no gender either and I for one thank you for killing that foul beast it couldn’t have been related to us American trolls I mean you even could tell the difference we look almost human you thought.” he said. I was still in shock by this because even when I had my memory before I never expected to meet someone with his power Werd seemed almost as if he belonged with those who could walk among the humans but unfortunately for him those tusks seemed to be the only problem preventing him from such. I bet if Werd were like me, Emily, or even Andy he could become a powerful player in not only our world that seemed of myth and folk tale but even the human world if only he was allowed to use his powers in his home which he was never allowed I felt sorry for the little guy that night and decided that we should all get some rest so we could begin training in the morning. As I woke the next morning to prepare for the training something was pinching the bottom of my foot, before I tried to see what was pinching me I looked at the clock and saw it was only four a.m. so I decided I would see what it was pinching me, then there at my feet was a tiny glowing little pixie. While the pixie continued pinching me on the foot I asked “ Pixie why do you pinch my feet?” I asked. It responded “ Your giant feet broke my brother Xanithan’s wing and now he is sitting in pain beside your head!” the pixie said. I looked over again and sure enough right beside me was Xanithan he didn’t seem too concerned about his broken wing or the pain his sister claimed he was in. “ Will the Wolvampire I haven’t a concern about that wing its always falling off somehow it happens it grows back within thirty minutes which means.” and right then a new wing grew and Xanithan started to fly around again and his sister quit pinching my feet and flew up to her brother then flew towards my face and let out a childish noise that sounding like screaming but it was in almost an Irish language. After she stopped screaming at me Emily and Werd were awoken by the alarm going off. The second Emily and Werd became fully conscious Xanithan and his sister had already disappeared and were ready to go to the forest to begin training but before we could go there we had to go back to Andy’s place and get him so he could train us for this battle but we were not certain that he would train us or even fight in the upcoming battle on Friday. While we were driving down to Andy’s place I couldn’t help but wonder if I was going to see Xanithan and his sister again before Friday luckily I could ponder this and stare out the window because as usual lately Emily was driving. I had never noticed how wonderful any of the scenery was all the green trees, I even noticed something about the capitol building it seemed to have the vampiric glow in this light but I knew that had to be impossible because inanimate objects could not be vampires. I drifited off in to an almost day dreamish state where I didn’t feel the length of the ride in the car but before I knew it we were at Andy’s still for a Vampire Lord he seemed to be fairly laid back he made sure that his followers didn’t kill the innocent or even people who were in jail unless of course they had death row those inmates were free game but the vampires that did go after the humans knew how to cover their marks easily leaving only one small needle sized hole. I walked into Andy’s house and said “ Hey do you think you could train me Emily and Werd before Fridays battle with the trolls?” I asked. Andy said “ Why is there a battle with the trolls in the first place?” Andy asked. I said “ It’s because their leader attacked me so I fought it and killed it so their a tad pissed off at me for that.” I said. “ Oh nice someone finally put that hideous Dannitha in its place good job most trolls aren’t that hideous but that thing my god it was hideous it tried to fight me a couple times but realized I was to strong to be defeated and to kind to kill it but you, you knew it needed to die I guess what im trying to say is lets go get ready for this battle cuz!” Andy said. Emily, Werd and I left in my truck first and Andy followed in his fifth van to replace the other four that were destroyed three were by monsters and his first was our favorite it was before we had become vampires it was his SEXY van it was a p.o.s though but it was our favorite sadly it had to go to the junk yard, this van he had now had a thirty-two inch tv in the back with a kitchen and bed and bath and came with auto pilot so he could program it to go where he wanted and he could just go in the back and rest for a while which I figured he did because he knew where we were going to go to practice for this battle, he always seemed to have some tiny bit of luck hidden up his sleve it was deffinetly helpful all the times we had fought together before. When we finally got to the training grounds hidden deep in the forest Andy said he would teach us some of his useful moves for the battle to come. As we got to our makeshift training grounds Andy warned us that he wasn’t going to hold back just because I was his relative. We prepared our selves and I was the first one to go up Andy said “run at me like your gonna try to tear me in half like that bear” still confused I charged at a super fast speed and about a fifth of a millisecond had passed and he had flipped me on to the ground with his foot against my throat. “ Shit Andy didn’t think you were serious ouch now get your foot off of my throat.” I said. Before I said another word Emily had already knocked Andy back in the same force he had knocked me back and I realized she was more skilled towards fighting than I was but that was how I always was I never used hand to hand combat lest it be necessary. As I got up off my back Werd was deep in thought even though he was the youngest troll. I morphed into wolf form and walked over to him trying to catch him off guard but before I new it he was all ready to stop me before I did anything. “Damn your mind reading ability to hell Werd” I thought knowing he could hear me and he just stood there laughing as though this were a game to him. I decided I would try something different and was gonna repeat one of my last college lessons in my head and only think about that and run as I did this I was near him already all he could do was try to figure out what it was under my repetitive college homework and finally I was going to pounce but jumped over instead and he didn’t even know that was all I was to do so finally I knew my way around him. I decided I would ask Andy who the Chinese vampire lord was and why he was so improper I knew the Andy knew what I was going to ask and said when I was right next to him though I was already there “ The Chinese vampire lord is a horrible demonic woman by the name of tabarrie her followers only follow to live for she kills anyone and anything she wants, even though they never did anything wrong to her she was just as cruel as their last vampire lord or even crueler yet, if I had more power this world would be free of evil but sadly im not the one meant to rule it” he looked over at me trying to see if I understood his words it took me a few minutes to conceive and my eyes widend in amazingly dumbstruck shock I was to be the true Vampire Lord of the entire world this fact immediately ticked me off yet some how it calmed my inner thoughts in that flick of a thought I rushed to Emily and sat my hand gently against her tummy the young one was kicking again which it did often and finally I was immedeatly calmer than a stone. I had asked if we had married yet and she told me that we had we both knew that this baby wasn’t happening til after we were together. After knowing this I remembered why I was next to her and started to pace wondering why I was to rule the ruler of the Vampire world. I stayed still wondering this to myself for a matter of what seemed like hours when only minutes had passed then was tapped on the shoulder by Matt apparently Emily had invited him along and had been here the entire time without me even seeing him i figured he must have shifted into something very small. We began to train again Werd always had the upper hand being able to read minds it was actually amusing to watch Werd and Matt go at it because one second Matt would jump right above Werd and the next Werd wouldn't even be near Matt, as the day progressed Andy made sure he taught us all we were going to need for this battle and bigger battles that were on the horizon. When we finally finished i realized it was more than a day and a half later and the battle was upon us slowly creeping up with no sign of stopping to give us even a seconds rest , it was a most wonderful sunrise though it had an ominous tint to it. As Emily, Matt, Werd and myself prepared for battle Andy was calling his van to him, I watched in utter amazement when i saw it pull up by him door open waiting for him to get in , Andy stepped inside and in a fifth of a microsecond he was gone leaving us to defend ourselves for battle. The battle was drawing closer every second still and finally the time had arrived on the horizon I saw the first of the trolls heading slowly and dramatically over it as if we were in a movie he drew closer yet finally halting when he got about four feet from my position, I remembered this was Werd's father, he called to Werd and asked "Is there any just cause for us to fight against these vampires not just for the fact our mind link is dead?" Werd said kindly "No father these vampires are chosen ones they are to defeat the Vampire lord of China and once they do the one named Will is going to bring order to our world once again and hopefully help us to walk among the humans once again not hiding our identities anymore." this time Werd's father looked at me and asked "Are you the one born of vampire and shifter my fellow?" I was surprised he would know this but i answered " Yes sir I am the one you speak of but why is this still such a big deal?" Werd's father said "it is a big deal because not only are you the one fabled to be Vampire lord you are to unite every creature on this earth human, vampire, troll etc." I was still having trouble believing any of this but I did and claimed that I understood Werd's father Somac. Somac said " We have not a reason to fight these ones they are of the legend we have no right to screw that up so we shall leave them be but give them the troll calling feather if they ever so much as need our help and i believe they will." I was shocked but said. "Thank you Somac you are too kind." he nodded and we went on our separate ways.
