After two year on the moon, history professor Carolyn Masters has settled in and is even getting used the the one-sixth G. She has almost put behind her the hectic events of two years ago when she and Michael Cheravik thwarted a terrorist attack and solved the murder of Juan Martin.

She is happily leaving her crime fighting behind her. She is busy helping set up the provisional government for a new independent moon. Then something goes wrong with the weather controls in Armstrong city. When one of the weather techs turn up dead, Carolyn must once again use the skills she acquired as an FBI profiler to help in the investigation which involves gambling, steroids for the brain, low-G soccer and big time wrestling.
