Synopsis: On The Bit

Under Queen Victoria III, the British Empire controls nearly a third of world. Despite the rouge America colonies, the citizens of the empire are prospering a golden age. The noble class craves entertainment and promoted the development of the Equestrian class over the past decades to fulfill this desire.

Jackson lives in a struggling port town. Having quit school to work the docks, Jackson uses his unique talents for complex mathematics and rapid language acquirement to help support his family. He’s grown accustomed to days filled with enduring his co-worker, Terence, and persistent customers. The only thing he looks forward to is walking Winifred home before it’s dark. When a high-class gentleman visits his town, Jackson will find himself shipped off to the Marshall Institute for the Gifted on a paid scholarship. Here amongst other children with true talents in learning, Jackson will discover the true purpose for his training. Will the City ensnare him? Or will Jackson be able to break free from the restrains and return to Winifred?
