Synopsis: Moonlit Sacrifices

It was all a dream. Always dreams of a simple, beautiful girl dancing just out of reach in the moonlight. No matter how hard he tries, Matt Henry can never make contact with the girl that lights up his nights. His fascination with the stars only makes him feel more distant and yet closer to her, and every day, he performs his duties as an astronomer with a heavy heart.

On the night of a lunar eclipse, he meets Serena Thompson. A mysterious artist, Serena scares Matt more than he'd ever admit, making him feel as if she knows his very soul. And she does, for Serena is one of the Luna Sisters, a demi-goddess and daughter of the Greek goddess Artemis herself. She has lived for longer than Matt could ever guess, and has followed him since the night they first met, 600 years ago.

Unfortunately, due to an accident that claimed Matt's life centuries ago and a sacrifice she made, modern-day Serena does not remember any of this, knowing nothing of her immortal lineage. Will Matt remember their shared past, and is he willing to destroy any semblance of a normal life for Serena by telling her the truth?

Dissent is also growing on Mount Olympus, with some gods calling for the elimination of all demi-gods and their human parents. Purity among the bloodlines is the call of these gods. With the threat of death looming over her daughter, how long will Artemis remain silent?
