Brief Author Bio:

The first year I did NaNo, I planned out an original story. Practically everything I wrote was brilliant and I still have the entire thing. This year however I didn't have time to make any plans, so I'm writing fanfic. Will it turn out as good? Only time will tell...

Synopsis: Instincts

When Naruto succumbs to the primal instincts of the Kyuubi, Sasuke sees no choice but to go after him. As time goes on and they become more and more isolated from the world they knew, will Sasuke manage to find a way to save Naruto from himself?

Excerpt: Instincts

"Uchiha," Kiba said evenly. "What brings you here?"

"I have a week to learn everything that isn't already written in here," Sasuke said bluntly, holding up the scroll that Kiba had written out for Naruto.

"Where did you get that?" the Inuzuka asked suspiciously.

"Tsunade said that your family are the experts on animal behaviour," Sasuke said evasively.

Kiba raised an eyebrow. "Why did it come up?"

"I have a mission coming up soon," Sasuke frowned.

"And only one week to prepare for it," Kiba said doubtfully. "You know that I wrote that with Naruto in mind, right?"

"Please," Sasuke said quietly. "It's very important. I wouldn't come here and bother you otherwise."

Kiba looked at him long and hard for a moment or two. "No, you wouldn't, would you?" he said at last. "You'd better come in. Leave your shoes outside."
