Brief Author Bio:

Kitty is a seventeen year old young lady, currently trying to work her way through Sixth Form with the grades she needs for university. She takes great delight in scaring people with her super-duper awesome complexity (or overwhelming creepiness - she's yet to work out which) and spends a great deal of her spare time submerged in her novels.

It has been said that she writes in a traditional fashion, but she doesn't know what that means and so is inclined to say her work is of a Dark Cabaret/Fantasy style. What that means is anybody's guess. She also hates to be pigeon-holed in one specific genre for any one piece of work, so don't even bother asking. ;)

Synopsis: The Art of Misdirection

Allouez Caine is your average Central City Exosian; she has plenty of boy problems, struggles to get her dead mother to stop calling her on the telephone, and has a recurring bat infestation in her appartment. She also, unlike many average Central City Exosians, loves her job. Working as the Candy Girl in the largest sweet emporium in the world, owned by the intimidating Madam Butter Rum, A.C. believes she has possibly reached her peak. That is, until the day she discovers it has vanished.

Rumour has it that the disappearing act of Madam Butter Rum, along with her world-famous Sweet Emporium, is all down to some evil, menacing creature living far off in the Somewhere. The problem is, all A.C. and her friends have to go on is The Prophecy, which is a vague statement at best, and soon they will find that finding their enemy is a lot more difficult than it sounds. And the people they meet along the way aren’t necessarily the most cooperative of people either...

Rouge Noir, VideoBlog Overlord and Weblink Extraordinaire, is a government employee taking on the role of Health Food Coordinator as a way to keep herself off the streets and in a steady stream of trouble. Little did The Directors know when they hired her that they were going to get a little more than they bargined for. With a goal in life to become Overlord For Real by picking off each one of her bosses, she’s got ambitions high enough to knock the stars out of space. She also has a morning-breath problem and a tangled mess of less-than-desirable family members, but that’s okay. She’s working on it.

Although they don’t know it yet, these two ladies have more connections to each other than they could have dreamed, and whether they’re fighting off a zombie invasion or treking their way across continents to reach their goals, it will soon become apparent that this connection is not something either of them would have ever wanted to be made public.
