Synopsis: The Seeking

In a world after monsters, humanity survives in gated villages, hiding behind wood and wire from the creatures that would kill them. Everyone leaves their village at least once: on their sixteenth birthday.

Lyda must leave behind her village to go on the traditional quest that proves her ready to take up the mantle of adulthood, but Lyda is different: her family has magic in their blood. Her quest will take her farther than any quester before her has ever gone, and will shatter her views of her small world.
