Synopsis: bookish.
Some form of this story has existed, in my head, on screens and paper, for years. Paz Bell is a bookish sort of girl, whom might be called socially awkward. She mirrors me; but is that interesting? How does an autobiography a novel make?
Paz's literary love affairs are my own; a cross between fiction and "literary memoir," (coined by Rick Gekoski,) "Bookish" is an exploration of how books shape us, how our lives shape what we read, and the impossibility of telling a true story.
