Synopsis: M68 Part 0: In The Beginning; They.
To be immortal is unnatural.
To be immortal is wrong.
Ironic then that the universe allows there to be immortals.
Noone has heard the name They in almost 100,000 years. So why, then, should the rumour of his re-emergence cause such a panic?
The mercenary Ex hears these rumours and ignores them. He has a job to do. Still, he probably shouldnt ignore that little voice at the back of his head.
The Chronicles Of They is a major part of the M68 series. Here is a small piece of background to the rumour known as They

"I am not getting in there" Ex said categorically.
"This is the only way."
"Liar."
"Royal said so personally."
"He can go suck a metal spike," Ex almost yelled, letting restraint go for a second.
"Perhaps. But you are getting in there. Even if we have to ... restrain you physically."
"Try it," Ex snarled, his arms twitching towards his holstered gun.
They tried it.
Fifteen minutes later, Ex woke with a large headache, travelling very fast through atmosphere of the planet below.
"Bastards," he observed to noone in particular.
