Synopsis: Out of Time

Six year old Lorian is forced to leave his best friend--the strange, but endearing Pig-monkey--behind on his homeworld, to travel to Earth on his father's freight ship. When the ship arrives twenty years later, they are greeted with hostility and the ship's crew is forced into a secure complex without explanation. When his father falls ill, Lorian asks for help, but is told that none shall be given. When the one person he knows with medical knowledge tells him his father will die without medication, Lorian must do all he can to obtain it.

In a world where no one communicates verbally, Lorian manages to 'plug' himself into the cyber-space in which his captors live, and begins to learn of an Earth far advanced than the one they thought they would arrive at. When he is 'contacted' by his much older friend, the Pig-monkey, he discovers a truth that rocks the foundations of everything he ever knew. Enlisting the help of the Pig-monkey, he escapes the confines of his prison and must free his people, and help millions of others in the process, and all in time to save his father.
