Synopsis: No More Worlds to Conquer
I'm re-writing last year's piece about Victorian archaeologists in search of Alexander's tomb. Needless to say, in addition to adventure, I can't help but put some social commentary in there, hence the quote from Plutarch's Life of Alexander that also alludes to the literal imperialism of the British Empire at the time and the cultural imperialism of international archaeology art dealing.
Excerpt: No More Worlds to Conquer
