Brief Author Bio:

I do history/museum stuff in the DC area and spend most of my spare time reading and writing or doing socially geeky things like games and neo-Victorian fashion shoots. If you want to talk to me online, try my livejournal.

Synopsis: No More Worlds to Conquer

I'm re-writing last year's piece about Victorian archaeologists in search of Alexander's tomb. Needless to say, in addition to adventure, I can't help but put some social commentary in there, hence the quote from Plutarch's Life of Alexander that also alludes to the literal imperialism of the British Empire at the time and the cultural imperialism of international archaeology art dealing.

Excerpt: No More Worlds to Conquer

"Where would we be without his subtlety and cat-like grace?" mused Lourette.
