Synopsis: Angels Condescending

Elaine has a secret, but it won't keep. Three months ago she was abducted by creatures with technology beyond her understanding, and then returned to her home with only glancing memories. Fearful of reprisal from the others of her village, she kept her silence until now. But the visitations have not stopped, and now she is beginning to realize that something other than a hazy memory was left within her body that fateful day. Now what to do? Can she trust her abusive parents to protect her? The local priest, who seems to think she is possessed? What about the "dark men" whose appearance began the strange happenings? As more and more secrets are unmasked, Elaine begins to realize that the "angels" who impregnated her may have powerful connections far beyond her village-- or even her world.
