Stand-up comedy is hard.
Excerpt: Sit.
Going to the store.
"What?"
"I said I'm going to the store!"
He heard the freezer shut.
"No you didn't."
"Not yet, but I'm going now. God."
"No--you didn't tell me that you were going."
I did, too!
She opened the ice cream and he walked into the room.
"What the fuck is going on, Chuck?" She dug hard in scoopy little arcs.
"You're freaking out?"
"Why didn't you tell me? I mean, you're ignoring me and shit."
Chuck thought he was saying things that never came out. Sheryl wouldn't guess for another two years that he was losing his marbles and not his character, but it would be too lat eto keep her from getting her heart broken and cheating on him out of loneliness and revenge.
Stuart hated Chuck as soon as he saw him. Big folded over hair.
