Synopsis: Under the Blue Sky

Tana lived a quiet life with her father and two other scientists in an undersea outpost , hidden away from others her age and far from any other undersea settlement. The earth's atmosphere had been destroyed in a catastrophic world war more than fifty years before she was born and only those who escaped to settlements under the ocean survived. She has never been "up” beyond the safe cocoon of the ocean's dark depths.

Then, one dark night, she wakes to find herself alone, no longer in her safe little submarine world but drenched in icy saltwater and floating on a rubber raft under a starlit sky. Her communication watch is dead, the gps location device is missing, and the survival mask is shattered. Giving herself up for lost, she watches the sun rise for the first time. Then her luck turns. Out of the mists a strange ship appears to pluck her from certain death. Thus begins the adventure of her life as she struggles to survive in this strange new world.
