Brief Author Bio:

I'm Maryy. I want to write something that will change the way people look at something and that will make people respect me and my opinions even though I'm only 16.
(and that will be on the '100 books to read before you die' list eighty years from now.)

Synopsis:

For people like Analee, Martin, Jared, and Tia, life is void of surprises. Any time a major event is about to occur in their lives, a color-coded card arrives in their mailbox. They are warned 7 days in advance of a birth, death, job promotion, lottery winning, and much more. But soon, they start to wonder, is it by chance that Analee seems to be getting all of the yellow cards and Tia only gets red cards? Did Ana's best friend Ivory die in the car crash because Ana wasn't paying attention, or was it unavoidable because she had received a black card? Is everything random chance? Is the deck stacked? Can someone prove the cards wrong?

A provocative story looking into fate, destiny, and the role of a higher power in our lives.
