Synopsis: Coyote Speaks

Fleeing the major mistakes of the past month, Khali Hogan travels to Colorado to stay with her uncle. But as much as she'd like to be done with the past the FBI still has questions and someone still doesn't want her to say a word.

Excerpt: Coyote Speaks

Khali Hogan. Guide, artist, sister, orphan, lover, Navajo. Have what you have. Khali was a lot of girl but even she could only take so much. After seeing her friend murdered and wandering for days in the desert before help came, Khali needed time away from the desert, home or not. So to the mountains she went. Her uncle owned a small ranch a few miles outside of Eldorado Springs, Colorado. She could spend her nights there resting and her days shopping and lounging in Boulder if she chose. The flat irons would be lovely this time of year having turned away from summer and snow contemplating rolling over the mountains in just a couple more weeks. That was what she needed. A good snowstorm, time to bunker down and recollect herself. Forget about mistakes forget about blood and disappointment.
