Synopsis: The Taste of Blood
The Hunter's Society had a problem, a big problem. The Vampires are growing in numbers, and there aren't enough Hunters to keep them at bay. To make matters worse, it seems the Society has a traitor amongst them, and there are Elites turning up dead.
Crystal takes a trip back to Head Quarters after a run in with a vampire, and receiving a gift claimed to be from her mother. The only problem being that Crystal's mother disappeared when she was seven. The stone belongs to a vampire, Daemon, who will do anything to get it back, and teams up with his brother in order to find the human who has it. They weren't expecting a hunter.
