Synopsis: All My Base Are Belong To You

Rory Clearwater goes to college and finds that she's no longer the only person around who loves fantasy novels, anime, video games and general geekery. Joining up with a group of three friends who play Dungeons and Dragons, she begins to feel like she's finally found her own kind of "normal." She makes a best friend, Lissa, who regularly wears Harry Potter robes to class, and works with Ben, who is never too busy to help her level in WoW. She even meets Drew, a boyfriend who likes her for her interests. But as the years at college pass by, "normal" begins to change.
Rory must decide what matters most to her in her friendships and in how she identifies to herself and to the "normal" world, and that may mean coming to a new understanding of what it means to be different -- or not so really different after all.
