Synopsis: Family

Sara has a secret crush on enigmatic co-worker Kelly. A work assignment sends them and Sara's friend Carl, for a short field trip. A friendship begins to grow. To Sara's confusion, Kelly pulls away.

Kelly holds a secret she has protected for almost twenty years. A secret so hurtful that even her family doesn't want her. She has never allowed anyone close, knowing they would pull away if they found out. She experienced that all too often in her past.

The imminent death of one person exposes Kelly's secret in a very public way. She finds that Sara and Carl are more than willing to help her. More importantly, Sara seems to believe Kelly's version of the truth.

That death should have been the end of Kelly's nightmare. But a new one opened. Will Kelly ever learn to trust? Will she allow herself to love and believe that she is loved in return?

Does she have a chance for a normal life? One that includes Sara?
