Brief Author Bio:

I was born in the Detroit area, and I lived in the Flint/Pontiac area until 1990, when I moved to Buffalo with my family due to the slow, bleeding deterioration of Michigan's economy at that time. I attended the University of Michigan-Flint and was one of the four people behind the first student-made film created at that institution. I graduated from the State University of New York College at Buffalo with a BA in English and a BA in Communications/Broadcasting Production, and later did some work on my MA in English before being hired full-time by Citigroup in 2003.

In 2006, I became very ill and ended up having to quit my job in 2007. In 2008, I was finally diagnosed with a chronic illness, and once it was being treated, my illness went away. Since 2006, I have been a happy house-husband.
