Favorite writers: Henry David Thoreau, Annie LaMott, Wendy Wasserstein, Anna Quindlen, Sue Monk Kidd, Stephen King

Favorite music: Old doo-wop songs for romantic inspiration..."In The Still of The Night", etc. Classical music sometimes...especially piano concertos. It must be music I can can feel....that signifies an emotion..... but it must blend into the background so as not to distract me. I want to absorb the music through unconsious osmosis.

Non-noveling interests: Reading, Arts and crafts ( altered objects crafting, quilting, sketching, drawing with pastels, dollmaking, sewing) photography, computer surfing and e-mailing
