Synopsis: Dwarfed

Dwarfed is the story of Grace, a sixteen year old achondroplastic dwarf. For as long as she can remember Grace has been a part of the Renaissance world. Her father is a musician and her mother owns a dress shop. Grace is the royal court jester.

When Grace's parent's decide to go to Tibet to learn all about holistic healing, Grace is sent to live on her Great Aunt Ettna's pig farm in Michigan. In addition to dealing with the problems all teens have to face when they are starting life in a new location, Grace must also deal with being a little person and the fact that she will never totally fit in with her new classmates.

An unexpected attraction to the Caleb Searc, the school's hockey star, further complicates Grace's life.

I am hoping that Dwarfed will be a fun story, with a touch of seriousness. Stylistically I am shooting for a kind of Janet Evanovich meets Sarah Dressen style of writing.
