an excerpt
"My dear", the grey robed man approached her. "How are you feeling?"
"A little confused" she answered. "Where am I?"
"You're in Between. Halfway between Life and the Afterlife. Harold's here to collect you and take you the rest of the way, there's been a mix up however and we're just discussing how best to sort things out."
"Don't tell her everything!" the black robed man, obviously Harold, exclaimed.
"Why not?" answered grey robes. "She's going to have to find out sooner or later."
Turning back to Sandy, his extended his hand in introduction "I'm George by the way. I'm the Chief Meet and Greeter for the Oceanic region. My esteemed colleague here is Harold. He's a Collector, probably the most successful Collector the southern world has ever seen. Now I don't want to startle you too much young lady, but there's been a rather nasty accident."
Suddenly Sandy remembered and thought frantically of Dave. George caught her expression, "Don't worry, Dave's fine. Your quick thinking saved his life. You, however, were not so lucky."
