This will be the first year that I'm writing a NaNo while working 2 jobs, both without the benefit of time on-the-clock to scribble through long passages of 500 words. Synopsis:
Our hero Jack, late 20s, lanky, intense, has just awakened with total amnesia. He's a stoic, however, and has no faith in memory and no interest in figuring out who he was or what happened to him. He finds he's naturally adept at figuring out what's happened to other people, however, and becomes a dry, mildly abrasive detective. All the while, he has faint glimmers of dreams and sees people on the street that seem familiar to him. Are lost memories returning or is his brain begging him to create a foundational identity?
