Excerpt: Under My Skin

Draco stood under an awning, rain pouring down around him. The night was dark, he could barely see in front of him let alone the pub across the street. The pubs windows were grimy, hiding the light that wanted to shine through. A small sliver of light started to escape as the door opened up, four men coming into Draco’s view. A flash of lightning ripped through the sky and the block light up. Draco pulled his coat closer to his body, he was soaked all the way through, but his eyes never left the redhead as he entered the pub with his friends.

“And here I thought I was just starting to get over you,” Draco whispered. He pulled his hood up on his coat and stepped out from under the awning and disappeared down the street.
