Synopsis: Windrose Hall
NOTE: This year I'm being a NanoRebel and finishing the second draft of my 2004 Nanonovel, in the hope of sending it out to publishers by the end of the year.
Christopher (Kit) and Thomasine (Tom) are the children of a well-to-do but unconventional family living in Windrose Hall in seventeenth century Northamptonshire. Cross-dressing, cross-tempered Tom longs to be a scientist; Kit is passionate about theatre and loves animals of all kinds… almost as much as he loves being the centre of attention.
Their comfortable lives are shattered when their parents die in a fire, and they find themselves disinherited and homeless. With the shy but resourceful housemaid, Joan, and Kit's dog Trundletail, they set out to London to recover their lost fortune...
