Brief Author Bio:

I'm in my senior (*GASP*) year at a women's college in Georgia. I was in co-ed public schools until college. No, don't feel sorry for me because I don't miss the boys or frat parties or whatever else garbage people come up with when they found out I go to a women's college. I chose it, it's actually pretty awesome, and I don't regret it for a second. On the contrary, I feel sorry for women who attend co-ed colleges! Okay, that aside...I'm just sick of ignorant people berating me for attending a women's college.

ANYWAY, I'm an English Literature-Creative Writing major with a minor in Women's Studies (again, NO, NOT ALL WOMEN at my school are in the Women's Studies department!). I'm going to do my damndest to complete Nano this year, although I have my senior seminar project of writing the first 30 (polished) pages of another novel.

Brief sad story. I've completed Nano once, in 2007. Last year I got too distracted with work and drama to finish, or really get anywhere past 2,000 words (pathetic, yes?). BUT the Nano I did complete no longer exists! A lesson to every writer out there...BACK UP YOUR WORK!!!!! Early summer 2008, my laptop fell on the ground for a third time and the hard drive failed. I lost everything, including my beautiful Nano. So, this year, with no time to think of a new plot and all that amidst my senior seminar, I'm going to re-write that Nano that I lost.
