Synopsis: In The Beginning

What do you do when you realize you have special powers no one else does? When your family begins to turn on you, suspicious of your every move?

Jace lives with his family, a small group of hunters who follow the herds, when what can only be described as magic errupts out of him. Can he survive alone? Does he want to?

Excerpt: In The Beginning

I don’t know why I told her about my foresight. Maybe things would have been different if my father didn’t know, or if I hadn’t admitted my power to myself right then. My life would have been different. Maybe my other powers would have never shown themselves, I don’t know. I never will. I don’t want to know. If I change my life in anyway, maybe I never would have met Vega. And she’s the best thing that has ever happened to me, hands down. I regret losing my family when I did in my life, but I would give up anything for Vega. If you’ve never been in love, you wouldn’t understand.
