Domenick fingered the long scar across his chest as he stood in front of a glass. The scar was so old that he himself was without memory of it. Easily the pale white mark stretched from his left shoulder to his hip on the right side.
"Mage,'' he whispered. "Do you remember this? A thousand years is a long time, plently of time to forget. Do you remember the night you ripped my world apart?"
