Brief Author Bio: I write. When I'm not writing, I'm thinking about writing. I don't sleep. Especially in November. I am aware that the previous statement is a fragment. Sometimes I even end sentences in prepositions. |

Synopsis: Being a Nobody
Lex, a sixteen-year-old tenth year girl, has just been moved from the Normal caste to the lowest caste, the Nobodies. Because of this change, she has lost all of her old friends. There's also something bigger that happened over the break that she can't seem to forget. As a Nobody, Lex meets Evan, Abby, and Chelse, who are not afraid to admit that they are science geeks. The four of them work together to find a way out of the universe. Being a Nobody describes Lex's journey to getting out.

THE TOP TEN LIES YOU HAVE TO REVIEW EVERY YEAR IN LIFESTYLE
Ten. The caste system was built in hopes that one day every single person will be a Hero. Hence the incentives, including the house size, way of living, amount of privileges, amount of opportunities, and amount of respect. No one of these is meant to be an unfair punishment by favoring one caste over another. These are merely incentives to ascend the caste system and contribute more to society.
Nine. It is possible for anyone to be in any caste they would like to be in. This only requires patience and hard work.
Eight. Although the Leader must be a Hero, he or she is able to identify with each and every caste.
Seven. The caste system is here to help you. It is here to make you a better person. Faith in it will help you go the extra mile.
Six. Concerning the Heroes, they are not perfect. Although extremely rare, it is possible for the Heroes to make mistakes. Forgive them for their mistakes, as it is hard for them to bear the responsibility of such great expectations.
Five. Concerning the Significants, they are not mediocre. They are almost as exceptional as Heroes. Encourage them as much as possible. It is highly likely for them to move up and become highly contributing members of society.
Four. Concerning the Normals, they are mediocre. Often they are a bit slow in taking things in and need a bit more help. Regardless, they can still contribute some to society. Encourage them to take things step by step and try to become a little better each day.
Three. Concerning the Nobodies, they are not inhuman. Rather, they are humans with need of more incentive to do good in society. Although extremely rare, it is possible for Nobodies to do something right. Treat them with compassion.
Two. Every punishment is fair and just for each caste.
One. It is illegal to murder, rape, or assault any member of any caste. Any action of this sort will receive dire consequences.
