Gavin Green, King of Alinery Peak, husband to no Queen, father to no heir, son to a murdered mother, son who killed his father. Both parents adoptive at least. Gavin still remembers that day. Last season. When he found his 'father' slipping poison into his darling mothers drink. She died that very night. She was the only person to ever show him compassion and love. His 'father' only showed him cruelty, even when Gavin Green did something correct. After his mothers funeral, a very solemn affair for she was widely loved by the people, Howell announced that all magic was to be outlawed and all mages were to be killed on sight. No trial for those that go against Creation he said. That is what Gavin said to Howell the night he killed him.

"No trial for those that go against Creation 'father'" he said as he slid the dagger straight in to his black heart. Once Gavin realized the way the people rallied around the concept of magic being evil, he did not change the laws. Why should he help the other mages? They did nothing to help him when he was a boy, he had to suffer King Howell’s wrath all on his own. So he decided to have the mages that would not help him before in his younger years suffer that same wrath now.

"Let the mages all die at the hand of my most trusted Mage Hunters. Like Duke's of the land they will cleanse this land of the evil that goes against all Creations!" He proclaimed after King Howell’s death. But that was last season, and all Gavin was doing was following the foot steps of Howell. Gavin could not be remembered in history as his fathers puppet. So he decided to do it differently. He recalled all his Mage Hunters and told them to sit tight, train and wait. Just to wait for his order. Last week he sent out messengers with the locations of where each troop was to go. Now he is handing the orders to attack all Mages to the messenger now. Soon things will be completely under his control. No more attacks by the underground. No more watching his back. He will finally be the only mage in the country powerful enough to do anything.

Gavin settles in he throne to begin the daily court actives. *Soon all this pointless behavior will be no more. Soon, soon I will be the most powerful ruler ever. My reach will extend beyond our borders and claim all off the land. Soon. Very soon.*
