Finally, just as she was about to give up, she saw her chance. Once again, it involved a noble lady and her enormous skirts, but this time the noble lady was surrounded by girls who were probably supposed to be her maids. It was simplicity itself for Darlin' to attach herself to the tail of this little group and slip through the door behind them, thinking to herself, 'This is where the adventure begins!'
She had no idea. But she was about to find out. And, knowing her, she would probably like it.
